There is no secret about it... I am seriously hating my Dr. in a mucho hateration way right now... She had me come in today for a full scope over biophysical exam, complete with an ultrasound and a non-stress test.. even though I am already overdue, she isn't even going to think about inducing me until MAYBE next Thursday... which will make me 41 weeks and 2 days...
I have a confession. I was not berry nice today, as I brought Bonquiqui with me to the appt. and tried to get her to induce Monday. Apparently, if you are healthy, but just a head case, there is no way things are going to be done to help a sista out. She gave me a BS schpeal about not wanting to "inconvenience" the Dr. on call that day because I am not a "medical risk" and they might have to stay after 5 to deliver me. What. The. F. ever. Can I use that excuse when I am teaching? "Eh... ya know.. I can't stay to tutor your kid, I may have to go over 4:00... and it's past my contract time, even though 'technically' it's my tutoring day." A parent would go Bobby Bouche on my ass!
I have an appt. Monday... she better hope I go into labor this weekend, or I am bringing Bonquiqui's momma with me.
The only remotely plus about today was seeing my precious little boy in a scandalous 3d ultrasound moment. The tech was trying to measure movements and seeing if he was practice breathing and couldn't see it on the "bad cable bill" view, so she switched to 3d mode-- which usually cost an upfront $150 and a separate VIP appointment. It was awesome.
He had his little arm tucked up under his chin, sleeping. He was pissed when she started violently jiggling my stomach to wake him up. Needless to say, I was pissed too. The hard kick to the right rib cage was not welcomed. I thought this was super sweet, his Daddy sleeps the exact same way...
This one isn't my total fave. He has a cute button nose just like mine :) I like how his fist is by his chin... fist pumpin' one for Momma...
While you are in there, do a fist pump for getting the heck out! I'll be sure to find a Jersey Shore Guido to do an official one to celebrate that...
