I miss having friends close by...

What is it about a glass of wine and a porch that is so magical? I am reminiscing about years gone by, where all it took was a glass of wine, a porch, and great friends to make for a great time. Laughing, laughing, laughing... with a black lab named Harley, and some antique lawn chairs. What happened to those times? I graduated college, got a professional job, and got married. Why does that have to change things? I have that same glass of wine, my own porch now... but those friends are just memories that sit there with me, living distances away. I laugh with myself, and wonder... if I stop remembering, will you go away? The breeze blows, and a sit in my own little world. Remembering those good times. Come friend, come on over... you can sit on my porch. The wine is cold, and the sun is shining. I have some gossip to share with you...
